Yoga & Wine

Friday August 17th, 2018, 6 - 7:30pm

Join yoga teacher Erica Baxter for an evening of fun and relaxation. We'll start with a stretchy, flowy, feel-good yoga class, followed by wineand time with friends.

No prior yoga experience needed. Must be 21 or older to participate; no exceptions. Cost is $12 for Breathe Members / $15 for non-Members OR pay $25 for two.

Yoga for Addiction Recovery Support

Tuesdays, May 29 - Aug 7 2018, 10 - 11am

Yoga for Addiction Recovery Support (YARS) runs for 12 weeks. People may come to one, some, or all 12 of these trauma-informed classes. YARS emphasizes physical and emotional safety and is beginner-friendly. Although 12-Step principals are applied during class, it's not necessary to be in a 12-Step program to participate, but it is suggested that students be on an active path of recovery. Half-Marathon Training & Yoga Program

16 Weeks in July through October, 2018

Join Erica & Erin for a Beginner Half-Marathon Training and Yoga Program, including a week-by-week training guide, weekly yoga sessions, group long runs, information on cross training, nutrition and more to support your 1/2 Marathon goals! For Kids age 4-7 (or so), $10 per kid & adult pair OR kids can stay adult-free (depending on maturity & comfort - you decide!) This hour (or so) of fun, movement, laughs, breath & interaction will keep their attention and be a great mid-week energy-reliever!

Mommy (or Daddy!) & Me Yoga

Alternating Wednesdays till school's out > May 2, May 16, May 30, 2018, 11:15am - 12pm

For Moms or Dads of kids 0-3, $10 per kid/parent for a 45 minute class of fun, movement, laughs, sounds, breath, and sweet play with your baby or toddler.

Rest & Be Stretched! Thai Massage Day

Sunday June 10th. One-hour appointments begin at 11:30am. Registration is required.

Thai Massage bodywork sessions will be available in one-hour appointments at Breathe Yoga & Wellness by appointment on two Sundays in January. Follow this link or watch a video on Thai Massage to learn what to expect during this wonderful, relaxing treatment as well as licensed bodyworker bios.

National Land Trust Day

Do Some Yoga on The Greenway

Saturday, June 2, 2018, 7am - 8(ish)am

Saturday June 2nd is National Trails Day and Land Trust Day, and to honor our local land trust, Foothills Conservancy of NC, we’ll practice yoga along the Catawba River on the Greenway Boardwalk at River Village after sunrise. This yoga class will be beginner friendly and FUN.

Cost is $10 per person and 100% goes to Foothills Conservancy of NC.

Brand New to Yoga Workshop

Saturday, May 19, 2018, 11am - 1pm

This is a 2-hour workshop is for beginning yoga students who want to learn the practice of yoga. The instructor will progressively take the class from very basic yoga postures to standing and moving in a slow flow movement, linking movement with breath. This workshop will help give new students the tools needed to easily move towards a mixed-levels class with confidence.

This fun event for our sweet family & friends is the off-the-mat manifestation of beauty, expression, sharing, and unity. Seva is Sanskrit for selfless service, & our yoga family thrives on the helping hands of so many beautiful souls. To honor those who help with office work, clean our space & more, we offer yoga & meditation. Our Seva Yoga program depends on contributions from our community, giving to those who might not otherwise afford the gifts of group & guided practice.

Hooping + Aerial Arts for Beginners

Heart Above Head: Building Trust for Inversions

Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 3-5pm

How can we find the support to take risks?

Join guest teacher Katy Hawkins in this special invitation to explore the risks of openness and of placing the heart above the head.

This 2-hour workshop will consist of physical asana and simple hands-on touch as a meditation practice. We'll wake up the “trust muscles” by using the support of props to help assist with the physical and emotional demands of inversions.
