Yoga & Wine

Join yoga teacher Erica Baxter for an evening of fun and relaxation. We'll start with a stretchy, flowy, feel-good yoga class, followed by wine, light snacks, and visiting with others.

No prior yoga experience needed.

Must be 21 or older to participate; no exceptions!

Wall Yoga Workshop with Emily Elder

Saturday, February 23, 2019, 12:00 - 2:00pm


In Yoga, the wall can be used for balance, strengthening, alignment, and overcoming fear.  In this 2-hour workshop, we will explore all of these and have some fun doing it.  The class will be a combination of flow, alignment, and deep stretch.

Wall Yoga ~

aligns the spine, pelvis, and shoulders

presents fundamentals of yoga postures 

nurtures opening

works with resistance for more effective strength training and stretching

assists balance

shows us where we're holding on too tightly

creates a unique yoga session that's both fun and enlightening

Brand New to Yoga Workshop

January 12, 2019, 12:00pm - 2:00pm!


This 2-hour workshop is for beginning yoga students who want to learn the practice of yoga. Instructor Erica Baxter will progressively take the class from very basic yoga postures to standing and moving in a slow flow movement, linking movement with breath. This workshop will help give new students the tools needed to easily move towards a mixed-levels class with confidence.

Cost is $25 for Breathe Members and $30 for new students. 


Yoga for Addiction Recovery Support

Tuesdays, May 29 - Aug 7 2018, 10 - 11am

Yoga for Addiction Recovery Support (YARS) runs for 12 weeks. People may come to one, some, or all 12 of these trauma-informed classes. YARS emphasizes physical and emotional safety and is beginner-friendly. Although 12-Step principals are applied during class, it's not necessary to be in a 12-Step program to participate, but it is suggested that students be on an active path of recovery. Rest & Be Stretched! Thai Massage Day

Sunday June 10th 2018. One-hour appointments begin at 11:30am. Registration is required.

Thai Massage bodywork sessions will be available in one-hour appointments at Breathe Yoga & Wellness by appointment on two Sundays in January. Follow this link or watch a video on Thai Massage to learn what to expect during this wonderful, relaxing treatment as well as licensed bodyworker bios.

National Land Trust Day

Do Some Yoga on The Greenway

Saturday, June 2, 2018, 7am - 8(ish)am

Saturday June 2nd is National Trails Day and Land Trust Day, and to honor our local land trust, Foothills Conservancy of NC, we’ll practice yoga along the Catawba River on the Greenway Boardwalk at River Village after sunrise. This yoga class will be beginner friendly and FUN.

Cost is $10 per person and 100% goes to Foothills Conservancy of NC.
