What is Yoga?
When most people hear the term “yoga,” there may be many ideas that come to mind. Some traditional practices include Raja, Hatha, Jnana, Karma, Bhakti, and Laya yoga. More contemporary yoga practices include Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Kundalini, Kripalu, Bikram, Restorative, and Yoga Nidra. Various practices may focus more on on breath control, alignment, meditation, chanting, relaxation, and energy flow within the body.
