Release and Waiver

By practicing at Breathe Yoga & Wellness, all students agree to a general release and liability waiver. View the waiver here. Each student is encouraged to take care of himself or herself and move only into poses, and to degrees of each pose, that are without pain. We encourage students with physical conditions or limitations to begin with a beginner friendly class, avoid anything that creates unease and to listen to and honor the body. Ahimsa is Sanskrit for non-harm in thought, word, or deed, and at Breathe Yoga & Wellness, Ahimsa begins with ourselves.

Studio Maximum Capacity

  • Breathe Yoga & Wellness is fortunate to have a large practice space, the Studio, and a private room, the PranaVayu Room, in which classes and session are held. However, there is a limit to how many bodies can comfortably fit per class. Once this number of people are registered for class, we would ask that remaining students return to take a different class.
  • Registering online is recommended to save a spot in class, but if you register online and come to class after class has started and the class is already full, we will kindly ask that you return to a another class.

Some teachers are open to students arriving as much as 10 minutes late, but others accept the prerogative of locking the doors at the start of class time. It's best to know what that teacher's personal practice around doors-locking is, and inquiring about latecoming if you think that may be an issue for your schedule. IF arriving late, a centering/silent meditation might be at the beginning of a class so we ask that you enter the room as silently as possible. If you must leave early, we ask that you exit as quietly as possible.

Lost Items

Breathe Yoga & Wellness will not be responsible for lost or stolen items under any circumstances. Please refrain from bringing valuables into the studio. The studio provides a Lost and Found area in the kitchen for items students may leave behind. On the first day of each month these items, including yoga mats, will be removed and donated or disposed of.

Incelment Weather

In an effort to keep everyone safe during inclement weather we will need to cancel classes from time to time.
Please always check our online schedule during inclement weather or inclement weather advisory to find out about any cancellations of classes and events or studio closures.

As much as we LOVE PETS, we must respect that some people have sensitivities to pet hair and dander, so we have a no-pet policy at Breathe Yoga & Wellness.

Tobacco & Drugs

Breathe is a smoke free and e-cigarette free building. We also ask that students practice respect for our community and not smoke in the parking lot behind or on the sidewalk in front of the building. No one under any circumstances may attend class under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If a teacher suspects that a student is a danger to him or herself or to the other students or to the teacher, he or she has full right to ask that student to leave.

We thank you for honoring our orderly environment by adhering to these guidelines!
